State Of The Art
When a superhero movie comes out, I am drawn to it like a magnet and afterward I write a witty little review. (No, I am not tooting my own horn because I consider my writings witty, thank you very much.) “Iron Man 3” is no different, and so the cycle begins anew. The movie picks up directly after the end of “The Avengers.” Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr., “Iron Man” 1 and 2) is suffering from post-traumatic stress due to the events at the end of “The Avengers.” (I won’t spoil it in case you haven’t seen it, but you really should. It was an excellent film.) He spends his nights tinkering and building gadgets, letting that super brain of his run wild. This concerns his girlfriend Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) – even billionaire playboys have to settle down sometime.
